The twisting head 1 is located at the top end of the piston 6, which is placed inside the stationary cylinder 7, the bottom of which is formed by a closing cap 8 fixed to the cylinder with a screw 9. The rotation of the piston 6 is carried out by means of an annular piston 12 located between the cylinder 7 and the piston 6. The annular piston is driven by a hydraulic or pneumatic pressure P, which can be applied to one of its surfaces A or B by two openings a and b, located respectively at the bottom 8 and at the opposite end of the cylinder 7. For free movement of the pressure agent from the opening a to the annular space in which the piston 12 is located, channels 13 are made in the bottom 8. The stationary cylinder 7 has on the inner wall 14 in a zone in a double screw external thread 15 and 16, having a good reversibility with a piston 12, the external surface 17 of which has a corresponding double screw internal thread 18 and 19 along the length of G to the outlet constriction 20. In this case, both ends 37 and 38 of the binding wire are passed through the slotted holes 5 of the twisting clip, which is located at a distance H from the product 36, and are held in this position. The components of the device are in the position shown in FIG. 1, with the pressure P applied to the opening b, while the opening a is output. At the first moment it is necessary to squeeze the jaws 2 and 3 of the twisting clamp 1 around the ends 37 and 38 of the binding wire. For this, the pressure P is applied to the hole a, without completely eliminating the pressure applied to the hole b. Thus, the pressure P is simultaneously applied to both surfaces A and B of the annular piston 12, which at the same time is in the equilibrium position and remains stationary. The piston 27, on the contrary, moves in the bore 28 under the action of pressure P applied to the opening a, compressing the return spring 29 and displacing the wedge 25 with the help of the rod 26. At the same time, the jaws 2 and 3 of the clamps rotate about the axis 4 and clamp both ends 37 and 38 strapping wires that were previously held in the slotted holes 5 with a number of devices (not shown). After that, the elements of the device occupy the position shown in FIG. 2. Next, the wire 35 is twisted, approaching both its ends 37 and 38 to the product 36, which are clamped in the jaws 2 and 3. To do this, the pressure P is removed from the hole b, which becomes the output. The pressure agent, acting through the opening a, holds the piston 27 in its initial position, passes through the channels 13 at the bottom 8 and acts on the surface B of the annular piston 12. This piston is screwed into the reversible thread 15, 16 and thus the piston 6 rotates with the key 21, which slides freely in the groove 22. The piston 6 in turn is screwed into the thread 11 on the bottom 8 and, turning, moves out of the cylinder 7, occupies the end position shown in FIG. 3. In this case, using the head 1, the wire is twisted (Fig. 5). The ends 37 and 38 of the wire are brought closer to the distance h from the product 36. Then, the jaws 2 and 3 of the clamps are unclenched, relieving the pressure of the agent P from the hole, which becomes the exit. Under the action of the return spring 29, the grommet 27 immediately returns to the position shown in FIG. 1, thereby allowing the jaws that release the ends 37 and 38 of the wire to be released.
